Social Tennis
Victoria Park holds three regular club sessions which take place all year round (English Weather Permitting!) Our social sessions are held on Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm and Saturday afternoons at 2pm, followed by tea and cakes. These are doubles sessions open to adult players of all abilities. We encourage new members, or those that are interested in joining, to attend these sessions first. There is no pressure and you will get to play with a variety of players of all ages, abilities and personalities! The emphasis is to mix in and have fun, practice your shots and enjoy your Tennis!. For those who wish to build up their confidence before attending, we run a series of adult group sessions on a Sunday morning - ranging from beginner, to improver, to intermediate.
Exeter and District Tennis leagues
Victoria Park currently fields five men's teams, two ladies' teams and a mixed team in the Exeter and District Summer Tennis Leagues. The men usually have three teams in the top few divisions and a couple of other teams lower down to enable as many as possible to experience league tennis. The women usually have a team in the top division also. There is also a Winter league which players can participate in.
How to get involved?
