Welcome to Victoria Park Tennis Club, Bridge Section.
We are part of the Victoria Park Tennis Club which was established in 1879. Like other clubs of this vintage Victoria Park Club originally catered for croquet and lawn tennis. In the course of time, the lawn courts gave way to hard courts. The Club has had a bridge section for many decades.
We are a small friendly club, offering duplicate bridge sessions on Monday (Duplicate Bridge) & Thursday (Gentle Duplicate Bridge) to members. Play commences at 7.00pm, and normally finishes around 10.00pm, with a short mid-session break for refreshments. Play is to English Bridge Union standards, although the club is not affiliated to the EBU. The Club also runs other weekly sessions, though sometimes on a seasonal basis. Guests are welcome by prior arrangement and applications for membership may be considered subject to the current status of our waiting list.
For more information including contact details, see the Club's Bridgewebs website
Initial contact should either be with the Bridge Secretary or Chairman. Phone numbers and email addresses for the current officer-holders can be found at the Club's Bridgewebs website
